Elkhorn Firewise Committee
Thanks to the leadership of Mike Frost, Elkhorn has been an actively participating community with FIREWISE USA since 2005; in fact, Elkhorn was one of the first residential communities in the State of Montana to embrace a pro-active effort in wildland fire prevention.
This means that Mike and the Elkhorn Firewise Committee regularly hold meetings to discuss fire risks to the community, make an effort to maintain multiple fire exits, and stay connected with wildland fire resources in the Flathead Valley.
